Dr. Keren Etzion is a Board Certified pediatric dentist, and recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She believes in a patient-centered and prevention-oriented philosophy of dental care. She approaches patient care with warmth, compassion, and of course, fun.
Dr. Etzion received her dental degree at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, a program known for its extensive focus on patients with special needs. At Stony Brook, Dr. Etzion received the Stephen Gold Award for Leadership in Dentistry.
She completed her specialty residency in Pediatric Dentistry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center, treating children of all levels of medical and dental complexity.
Outside of the office, Dr. Etzion’s volunteer work has included outreach in Madagascar, Ethiopia, Dominican Republic, and medical disaster relief to post-earthquake Haiti in 2010.
More recently she partnered with the New York Public Library in developing an early-intervention oral health workshop series. Dr. Etzion frequently lectures on emerging techniques and trends in pediatric dentistry to both medical and dental professional groups.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New York County Dental Society (NYCDS) and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
